Robert K. Warford is Of Counsel to the Law Firm of Reback, McAndrews & Blessey LLP. For over 35 years, he has concentrated his practice primarily on the trial of civil matters involving issues of medical malpractice (with particular emphasis on brain injury, other catastrophic injuries, cancer, and the technology of medical equipment), physician licensing, and health care law. He has tried in excess of 100 cases, including jury trials, court trials, administrative hearings involving the California Medical Board, and binding arbitrations.
Mr. Warford is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, which is considered by many to be the most prestigious organization of trial lawyers in the world. Membership is by invitation only and is strictly limited to 500 active trial lawyers from the United States, and an additional 100 from more than 30 countries around the world.
Mr. Warford is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. The American College of Trial Lawyers is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada and is widely considered to be the premier professional trial organization in America. Fellowship is extended only by invitation, after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. From 2004-2015, he served on the Southern California State Committee of the College. From 2009 to 2011, he served as Vice-Chair of the State Committee. From 2011 to 2013, he served as Chair of the State Committee. In 2015, he was elected a Regent of the College, a position he will hold through September 2019.
Mr. Warford is also a member of ABOTA, the American Board of Trial Advocates, an organization limited to attorneys with significant civil jury trial experience. He holds the rank of Advocate in that organization.

Mr. Warford has been an invited speaker on various topics in legal medicine for many medical malpractice insurance carriers, as well as the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the Tennessee State Bar Association, Loma Linda University School of Medicine (grand rounds in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Anesthesia), Kaiser Foundation Hospitals (various locations and topics), Southern California Permanente Medical Group (various locations and topics), and the California Continuing Education of the Bar. He has also been selected to participate in the ABOTA “Masters in Trial” Program.
