Thomas F. McAndrews is a senior partner in the Law Firm of Reback, McAndrews & Blessey, located in Manhattan Beach, California. For the past 30 years, he has specialized in the trials of civil personal injury cases particularly in the area of professional liability defense. Mr. McAndrews’ experience also includes the trial of cases in the areas of elder abuse, dependent adult abuse, product liability, general liability and real estates.
During his career, Mr. McAndrews has tried over 100 cases and he has focused his practice for the past 18 years primarily in medical negligence including the defense of physicians, hospitals and health organizations in the areas of malpractice elder abuse and dependent adult abuse.
He has been invited to lecture on the subject by the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel at their annual convention. He has also given lectures to hospitals, insurance companies, skilled nursing facilities and health care organizations on risk management issues.
Mr. McAndrews has been a court-appointed arbitrator and a court-appointed settlement officer since 1993.
